• Web Casino Sucker Bets — Part 2

  • Progressive side wagers: Casino games like Caribbean Stud Poker commonly have one of these. You generally put a wager ($1 is the normal amount) to try to win a bonus jackpot that can reach twenty-five thousand dollars. Though big jackpots like this are particularly tempting, they’re also incredibly hard to win. You might need to get a Royal Flush in order to succeed on this bet. Also, think about this- you wager 20 hands and lay the side bet every time. That is 20 dollars you could have used towards the real game wager in place of a sucker wager. Picture what you might have been able to win at a wager with more favorable odds employing that twenty dollars.
  • Single number wagers in Roulette: This is completely true for American Roulette. The reason? American Roulette has 2 zeroes on the wheel, unlike European Roulette, which has just one. This shifts the complete casino edge from twopercent with one zero wheel to a whopping 5percent in American. The single number bet has only a one in thirty eight chance of succeeding, which are very big odds indeed. Bet on even-odd or black-red bets as a substitute which have a much smaller casino advantage.
  • Keno: Any version of Keno, and anyway you gamble on it, the casino advantage can be a whopping twenty-five percent. Yes, that isn’t a error. Due to the large amount of numbers you have to pick, it is not advisable to gamble on Keno very much. A number of times for fun, perhaps. But don’t spend all your money on it or you’ll immediately find yourself beaten.
